Buyer Preparation Guide

Custom Diamond Tool OEM Process

A useful OEM project begins with the workpiece and operating condition, then moves through specification, sample feedback, approval and repeat-order records.

1 · Application Requirement

Describe the material, machine and target result.

Send the exact workpiece, operation, machine, speed, cooling, access, dimensions, expected production volume and the balance required between speed, finish and tool life.

2 · Tool Specification

Translate the application into measurable parameters.

Confirm manufacturing route, body geometry, diameter, thickness, thread, shank, bore, working length, grit, bond or coating area, labeling and packaging.

3 · Sample & Testing

Collect structured performance feedback.

Record machine settings, material batch, cutting or drilling speed, finish, chipping, heat, wear pattern, tool life and any failure mode. Photos and side-by-side benchmark results make feedback more useful.

4 · Approval

Freeze the approved product and packaging details.

Approve the technical specification together with product marking, label, barcode, case or box, carton quantity and shipping marks. Avoid treating artwork and tool specification as separate projects.

5 · Repeat Supply

Use the approved record as the reorder baseline.

Reference the approved model, drawing revision, sample, packaging artwork and any agreed inspection points when placing repeat orders or requesting changes.

Next Step

Choose the correct commercial path.

For a custom application, start with custom OEM manufacturing. For a branded product range, review the private-label supply process.
